is it true that diet soda can make it hard to lose weight and might even make you gain weight?

  • Yes. The sugar substitutes interfere with the chemical process that tells you're brain you're full. In essence, it's an appetite stimulant.

  • and I heard that diet soda is actually bad for you because of the sugar substitute they use for it and it can actually cause cancer, I think it's Equal the sugar subtitute that has it.

  • Yes, it can actually make you gain weight. Regular soda would actually be better although no soda is best.
