what does "bump" it a good thing or a bad thing?

when somebody "bumps" your question whats going on? good/bad.

  • When questions are shown, they do it in order of most recent, so the older questions keep getting moved down the list, and are less likely to be seen / answered by someone.

    But, if someone thinks it's a good question that they want to see more answers to, then they can "bump" it, which then moves it back up towards the top with the newer questions.

    So, it's a good thing :-)

  • It's a good thing. They think the question needs to be read by more people. If you go to the popular question section, you'll notice the most popular ones have the most bumps. :-)
