Should I shave my eyebrows?

They get really bushy. If I shave them, I can just paint them back on, or use marker, or something.

  • Personally, I can't stand the whole painted on eyebrow look. It makes people looks like plastic dolls IMO. If they are bushy, you can buy a trimmer and just trim them to a more managable length.

  • Ummmm, I would't people tend to look suprised all the time when they do. Try trimming, plucking, or mabye waxing? Just a thought.

  • My daughter always had the "uni-brow", although blondish/red, it was still there. She had them professionally waxed and shaped, and now it's very easy for her to keep up with them.

  • No!!! don't do it!! Especially if they are thick! I had my brows waxed once and just kept up with them by tweezing! I've seen people who shave them and they always seem to have stubble and it looks terrible!

  • Yeah shaving them off looks horrible, please please please don't do it. Waxing only hurts for a second and looks good for weeks, plus it's really easy to keep up with tweezers.

My friend once shaved hers off, then drew them back on with eyeliner and went to the amusement park on a hot day. Her 'eyebrows' melted off and she had horrible black streaks on her face all day : / Total fashion disaster.

  • Not sure how old you are, but the super thin, severe eyebrows age a woman considerably. Something that some of us are concerned about. And, I agree with the others....the whole drawn on eyebrow thing is tacky.
