How can I get an ink pen stain out of a leather chair?

  • I tried leather cleaners, diaper wipes, make up remover~nothing really worked. But it does just wear off after a while...

  • You can try two different things. The first is rubbing alcohol, white paper towel saturated with the rubbing alcohol rub into stain and immediately dry off. May need to repeat until stain is gone. I would then clean with saddle soap or other recommended cleaning method. Same directions with hairspray make sure hairspray is no perfume no conditioners. Of course test in inconspicuous spot first with both methods.

  • I have not tried this....but a guy at a furniture store told me that if you take neutrogena face wash....sp? and mix it well with some water and make up a lather and clean it with that....that pen marks will come off....

  • Cheap aqua net hairspray, it takes blue ball point ink out of a man's white/collar button down shirt.

  • Or try some hair gel, the cheap ones have more stuff that gets stains out, (/??? why???) don't know
