Selling books on

My son has college textbooks he's selling. We're not quite sure how it works. The agreement is to mail the item within 2-3 days and states payment will be dispursed to bank account within 14 days. How do we know the buyer paid? Does Amazon take care of the billing/invoice and such with the buyer? It wasn't really clear in the confirmation email from Amazon.

  • Is there not a used text book store near you? They pay quite a bit.
I've bought from amazon. The payment is taken off my card when the item ships. I'd guess you get the money from them after it arrives. Check the help section on the site, they could help you a lot more than us. Good luck!

  • I honestly don't know.. I've never sold books on Amazon.

I always just walk down to Powells and just sell them to the book buyers there..

Hopefully someone can help you out..

  • I'm not sure how amazon works, but I have sold a lot of books on in the past. That site was easy and the directions are clear.
