How to get rid of chiggers?

I have 4 kids, the youngest is 3 months, and there are chiggers in my house! How do I get rid of them? We noticed the chiggers about 3 days ago. A natural non-toxic-to-humans way is preferred. Thanks!

  • if you have any houseplants in your house, take them outside...and don't bring them back in. wash all of your clothes and sheets and such in HOT water. Keep some hydrocortizone cream on hand for bites. They tend to attach themselves to hair follicles around like your sock line and such...where they're not easily seen. and wear light colors I believe as they prefer dark colors. There are some suggestions, I read them online quite a while back. I'm not completely sure how correct they are as it's been years. But google it as well, that should be just as helpful
