My baby is 11.5 months old and I am day weaning him from breast feeding. I still plan on letting him nurse at night. Since it would also be ok to be weaning him from formula to cow milk, I've been giving him half formula/half milk. He wouldn't drink straight formula at first, but took the half stuff fine. I figure he will want a bottle for a while longer since he is using it to get used to not nursing. I'll probably try to wean him off the bottle by 18 months. My question is this: Should I move the ratio of formula/milk more toward higher formula, higher milk, or leave it as is?

  • I think half and half is fine for now. I would slowly make it more whole milk. Just add a little more whole milk each day until he is on all milk.
