  • Make sure they have outside play everyday. 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in the afternoon, and as a family we try to make it outside for 1/2 hour to 1 hour everynight biking, walking, hoops, swimming, catch etc.

  • make them go outside..if i tell me dh to talk a walk with him, it gets both out for an hour or so, because they inevitably run into someone, a chat ensues, and they can be stopped a long time--they're both so chatty! or dh will take him to the park, or swimming..

  • tickle fights, run and chase, swiming, bounce on the bed....whatever moves and grooves them. :)

  • Make them go outside and play.  Until this horrible heat wave I would get up in the morning, turn off the TV and out the door they went.  they came back in for lunch and dinner and to use the bathroom and hydrate but otherwise they were outside riding bikes, playing at the park, running around with their friends until it gets dark.

  • They are bottomless pits of energy. Outside they will swim and run around..but that doesnt last long and they want to come in. I can't really blame them because its too hot. Inside they use most their energy chasing their little brother and arguing. LOL
