Does anyone know of a home remedie to reduce fevers?

I'm 18 weeks pregnant, and wondering what are some SAFE and NATURAL ways to reduce fever and fight a cold? Obviously I know take a luke warm bath or shower.. but it doesn't seem to help. I have an appointment anways with my Dr. on monday, so is there anything in the meantime that may help?

  • hot flashTyonol is the only safest pill to take when pregnant. If you need to break it then get a cold washcloth and keep you head cool. A luke warm bath is okay but if you get it to warm then it will raise your tempature more. Lots an lots and lots of clear fluids too! Feel better soon.

  • Wish I knew mama but you already listed the ones I would have said. Maybe Google it? Google is my best friend when I need to find info out right away. GL hope you feel better.

  • The only ones I know of aren't safe during pregnancy, sorry. (stay AWAY from elder and feverfew)

  • lol, I honestly don't think I've ever heard of elder or feverfew..

I typically stay away from medications anyways and opt for home remedies..
