  • Well, I only have one kid.. so I guess I would move in with my Mom and get a job. It wouldn't be too hard, she even has a spare room :)

  • i was never married to my daughters dad, but we broke up when i was pregnant, so i had to move back home with my mom n dad. worked out perfect tho, they let me and alexis live in the fully finished basement, so we had our own space/privacy, and i could work, and they would look after her while i worked! :)

  • I am lucky to have a totally supportive family. I know I could turn to them while I made changes in my life and got back on my feet. I would get a job and finish my degree. I would do whatever I had to establish myself and be the best mom I could for my kids.

  • good question! bump!

Actually, I've been thinking of going back to work so that I have my own savings and investments. You never know.

  • I've always had a job but if I became a SAHM I'd probably get a job and go back to work.

  • I'd probably move back in w/ my parents for a bit, they can help watch dd while I work. I'd also track down that good for nothing hubby of mine & demand child support & alimony. I haven't worked since we got together, long story, so I'd qualify for spousal support & he knows I'd go after it. I've informed him several times it would be cheaper & easier for him if I just kill him instead of going the whole divorce route!

  • if my hubby "left me " it would mean he passed away overseas, then I would survive with 600,000 dollars life insurance, and social security for my 5 kids! Plus I could work if I had to. I know this was a "what if" question, but I know that he would not leave, so kinda hard to answer that way! sorry.
