  • When they start showing an interest... Just make sure you're using a formaldehyde free paint so they don't end up with eye infections.

  • We got our daughter piggy paint she's 19 months and she such a little princess/diva. The Piggy paint is really natural, low odor, no acetone, and it's hypoallergenic. She doesn't stay very still, but we still have fun with it.

  • Make sure she's still not sucking on her fingers. Finger nail polish is toxic.

  • I do it now, my daughters 2 but I buy the cheapest nail polish and its gone within days. She loves having her nails pretty, I never paint my nails but she showed interest in them when she saw other little girls with pained nails.

  • honestly I started painting my oldest daughers nails when she was almost 2, I was paintig my nails and she took interest and so I painted her nails and she loved it so we made it a regular thing between us, same with my youngest daughter, but it took a little longer for her because she would bite her nails so I didn't paint her nails till she was almost 3 and she doesn't bite her nails anymore.
