boobs after breastfeeding

Just curious...did they shrink shrink shrink......stay the same size....go back to normal? How long did you breastfeed?

  • I nursed two kids and have been nursing non stop since May 2005. My youngest just weaned about 5 months ago. They went up 2 cup sizes while nursing and have gone back down 1 cup size since weaning. Age and nursing do not make them sag, but the pregnancy hormones do. I was an A before and am now a B. I weigh about the same I did before pregnancy, though body looks distinctively different.

  • I nursed for years...and they do get small again...but I guess a lot has to do with losing weight.

  • The good thing for me was that I had tiny nubs before I bf and afterward I had/have large bazoobas so I'm happy. I have not nursed in years but they are still large enough to make me happy. The bad news is that age is now making them sag!

  • I only pumped. I did it for 6 weeks. After a while they went back to the same size. Also from the pregnancy hormones they have taken a slight road south. Not bad though. But that happens to 90 percent of us anyways :)

  • Breastfed 10 years. Bigger than before kids. Not very saggy and I'm in my 50s.

  • Mine pretty much looked the same when I finished nursing baby #2. I had been nursing for about 3yrs with #1 & 2 combined. 7 yrs later I'm currently nursing #3.

FYI breastfeeding does NOT make your boobs sag. The biggest contributors to saggy boobs are pregnancy, genetics and smoking. Check out Breastfeeding Does NOT Cause Breasts to Sag
