going camping on the 5th what should i bring?

We have no camping supplies, I have never been neither has my dh, so this will be our first time, we have a 4 year old and a 2.5 year old

  • Tents, sleeping bags, blankets, food, first aid kit, water, stuff to make smores or just roast marshmallows for the kiddos. Also, bring flashlights, cooler, fun stuff for the kids on the ride to and from, fishing stuff if you plan on fishing while you camp.

  • One of my favorite foods when camping is mountain pies. We usually make pizza ones for dinner - buttered bread, pizza sauce, cheese, and pepperoni - and then pie filling ones for dessert - buttered bread, favorite pie filling
    You should be able to find mountain pie makers at any camping supply store.

    Swim suits and towels, if you're going camping near somewhere to swim. Possibly old tennis shoes if the swimming place is not barefoot friendly.
