at what age is it normal for a baby to throw a ball over hand

  • My son has thrown it like that since around 10.5 months. He did it right infront of the doc with a book she handed him, and she said that was a 18 to 24 month skill. So if your LO does it before then, they are ahead. As well as my son :)

  • My son is 1.5 and still throws the ball two handed. I think the average age is around 2.

  • @carsonsmmmytam haha yeah my son has just started throwing things over hand with one hand and hes ten months :) the first we noticed he it threw a bouncy ball in the parking lot XD ~sports scholarship here we come
