8 year old Birthday Party Ideas

My son will be 8 next month and has asked to have a sleepover with 2 friends, what are some cool activities we could have for the kids?

  • Have them pick out movies,

    have a favorite video game marathon

    let them make their own pizza

    follow it up with sundaes.

    do a scavenger hunt.

  • They can make their own personal pizzas. Find a good dough recipe and make it ahead of time. Then have them make their own pizzas with the ingredients. Buy a bunch of different kinds, so that every kid gets what they want. Then afterwards they can make their own sundaes. Or if you prefer a healthier treat, then you can do cake cups, yogurt, fruit, and crushed nuts. They should really enjoy making their own foods.

    Then you can either have a movie marathon of their favorite movies.

    Or you can have a bunch of games. Like blindfold drawing ..
    Cover your dinning room table in newspaper (Taped together, so it doesn't seperate during the project). Get big drawing paper and crayons. Then blindfold each kid and ask them to draw something specific. Like a tree, a dog, a house, etc. The one who's picture looks closest to the object they were asked to draw gets a prize.

  • Have a ton of activities planned or you will go nuts I had a slumber party for my 8 yr old dd and I ran out of things to do so they went all screaming through the house drove me nuts never again will I do 4 girls at the same time Good Luck
