When is the last time you were stung?

I accidentally grabbed a bee and was stung on my hand the other day. It was the first time I was stung since I was 4...

How about you?

  • About 20 years ago, I stepped outside barefoot to shake a rug out, and stepped on a wasp. :(

  • about 12 years ago, stung by a bee right under my eye...i called my sis (pharm. tech) to find out what i should put on it. she informed me to remove the stinger, first, and that i could be allergic, if my breathing became difficult, my whole face swelled, etc..i could die!! ( what was she doing to me??) i said, in my panic, 'what does it look like???' i then heard her laughing her head off, telling the other techs/pharms in earshot what i said, and they all had a hoot. she finally got back on the phone, still breathless from laughing, and said, ''lisa, if you need to know what it looks like, its not there. i think you'll live.'' what a witch!
    LMBO..its funny now!

  • In 2003 I believe. I was walking through the commons to work and bee got stuck in my hair. He stung me as I tried to release him.
