I thought I was pregnant, but if i am cramping a week before i am suppose to start my period then i am more then likely not right?

  • Not necessarily. Cramping is normal in the first trimester, as long as it's not coupled with bright red bleeding, or passing of clots.

  • I started cramping from implantation up to 11 weeks. I wouldn't base pregnancy or lack of on the cramping.

  • You could still be pregnant. In fact, I had really severe cramps a few days before I was suppose to have my period. Turns out those were not period cramps!

  • Cramping is very common with implantation and early pregnancy. It doesn't really mean anything.
