how many table spoons does it take to make half a pound?

ive been searching an searching for 10 minutes.. i cant find it :(

• That would be half a pound of water but it doesn't apply to anything else. There's no set conversion from volume to weight because different things have different densities. Try convert-me.com, they have a conversion calculator for various common substances like baking ingredients. For example, a tbsp of flour is 0.3oz and a cup is 5oz. A half pound of flour would be about 26tbsps. A half pound of granite would be about 11tbsps, just to give an example of something more dense.

• A half of a pound of what? A tablespoon of butter does not weigh the same as a tablespoon of flour....
