Does you toddler call dad "mom" ? LOL

Her first word was ma. Then she figured out how to say "daddy" came out as "da-E" Now she stopped calling him da-E and started calling him MOM..hahahahaha
I think its funny because he acts so insulted,lol.

  • funny! My son does the same thing! His first word was dada...he actually didn't say mama for a long time after that. He calls me mama, but he calls my husband mama too! It's so funny, isn't it! He'll even point to his pictures and say "mama" like he's all proud of himself. hahaha...

  • Mine has on accident before. And vice versa. He also occasionally calls one of us Nana or Papa. He's a funny little man. : )

  • YES! LOL. But she only does it when he isn't around, she will usually come up to me and say Mama, mama and put her hands out as if saying where is he lol. I tell her no I'm mama, that's papa lol.

  • lol thats cute!! My biggest problem is getting my 2yr old to call grandma, grandma....she hears my siblings and I always say mom, so she says mom too!

  • nope my dds know which parent is which. Occasionally she will call My mom or mil mommy because df and I call them mom.
