For 6 months baby

My daughter is turning 6 months this Friday. I wonder if I should change a real pillow for her? what kind of pillow I should buy? Anyone has any suggestions?

  • My 1 year old still doesn't use a pillow. I wouldn't worry about pillows yet, they probably aren't necessary yet.

  • No pillows until after a year. My son is almost 12 months and still doesnt use a pillow. 6 months is way too early..Suffocation is a risk with them..

  • To the poster who mentioned SIDS...pillows have nothing to do with SIDS. You're confusing SIDS and suffocation.

  • ACTUALLY.... my pedi had told me and i looked it up a baby can suffocate on a pillow just as easily as the corner of the mattress.....

    • Soft bedding and other items are dangerous and can keep your baby from getting enough fresh oxygen or can cause suffocation. Remove all soft bedding and other items from your baby's sleep space, including blankets, pillows and soft or pillow-like bumpers, when placing your baby down to sleep.

soo pillows ARE a sids risk too..

here is one of MANY links that prove this
