Miniture American Eskimo Puppy

Does anyone here own one of these dogs? We are being offered a puppy.

Any information would be very much appreciated.

  • They can be stubborn. They can be difficult to house train. They need grooming daily, they have a double coat.

They can be yappy and destructive if not trained properly.

Do some research on them, call some breeders in your area and ask questions about them. How old is the puppy? If its younger than 8 weeks DO NOT take it. Pups need to be with their mothers until at least 8 weeks with 12 starting to be the new norm.

If the parents of the puppy are not healthy do not accept the puppy. If they are kept in kennels, aren't clean, or there are more than one set of puppies roaming around do not take the puppy...if the pup doesn't have shots or isn't wormed..again, no puppy. It will be hard but you will be saved a ton of heartache in the future.

  • I have seen American Eskimo dogs, never seen a "miniature". They are sweet dogs.
