When should my dds poop become more solid?

she'll be 18 months....

like to be more of a turd and not mushy....

she eats normal food....

  • You need to add more fiber into her diet and it will stiffen up. Just be careful not to add too much or it will cause constipation.

  • feed her more bannanas to firm up poo. Also consider that things like having a hard time digesting dairy and gluten can cause soft poop as well as constipation. You could try cutting dairy down in her diet for a wk to see if it changes anything and if it doesn't try gluten

  • my 13 month old has had pretty solid poops for the last month or two - since she started eating table food and breastfeeding less...

  • she doesnt drink milk.... shell have cottage cheese thats really all the dairy and eggs on occasion

  • it will take a bit if you just stopped nursing her...starchy foods will also help thicken her poop up. My son, 18 months old just started having lil turds (lol) but every now and then still has the creamy diapers...makes me miss the solid ones then lol it will happen soon enough...hang in there
