Ok but, could I still clal him "ki" sometimes?

Malachi vs. Malaki..... Obviously the first one is spelled correctly according to the bible and other references but i kind of like malaki too..... If I chose Malachi, would it even make sense to call him "Ki" sometimes?

  • i agree that you can call him ki if you want. and if you prefer the K spelling i don't see a problem with that. i tihnk everyone would still know how to say it.

  • I think you can call him Ki. I also think you should spell it however you like, unless you are really stuck on the Biblical version.

  • I agree with the last two. If you like it spelled with a K - do it! We went with Mathias (biblical version) for our youngest's middle name, but spelled it Mathyas. Everyone gave us crap, but hubby and I like it, so we went with it. It's you kid!
