Anyone done the South Beach Diet?

I just started today and I live for carbs, so it is a struggle. If you have used the South Beach Diet, how much weight have you lost?

  • I did it for 3 months with the support of my physician and lost 7 lbs. in the 1st 3 weeks, then a total of 5 more after that. I've not gained any back in the year since that I've NOT strictly stuck with the SB plan. The first few days are HARD but it gets easier after that. I actually felt better than I had in years! After three months I also found that, along with the weight loss, my cholesterol dropped by 100 points and my triglycerides dropped by over 300 points! (yeah, I wasn't so healthy to start)

  • Nope I'm not even sure of what it is--but I did recently lose 7.5 lbs using Turbo Jam.
