  • Good question! There are times I have to repeat certain things numerous times (they are only human) and I really don't feel they listen. Also i've asked them not to watch a few tv shows and such and my son seems drawn to what he is not allowed, which confuses me.
But from others like their teachers at church, I hear how vocal they are about what I have told them. So, at this age (4 & 5) I believe they do listen to mommy.

  • Well I cant say they listen all the time. But I know that with my 16 month old and 4 year old I only tell them no twice and the third time I take action. My 4 year old does listen to me, she knows the circumstances for not doing so. The 16 month old likes to push buttions though... it comes with the age.
