Is it rude to tell your 17 yr old daughters friend to go home? adult content

my daughter has this friend, she says he's not a bf but they are always together and now he comes over and I think he stays longer then he needs to..is it rude to tell him he can stay only until a certain time then he has to go?

  • Heck No! While your at it, you need to make this dude know that you are the boss, (just in case he has any doubts). I used to like to make the BF's afraid of me. It works!!!!

  • Gosh! Since when is it rude to be a parent? No it is not rude. You're the mom, she's the kid and he needs to respect that. Whether they're dating or not.

  • No it's not rude. I always set a time limit on when my kids friends can stay. If you don't they'll stay all day. So nope tell him hey you can stay for a couple of hours then you have to go.
