I am throwing my sister a bridal shower and working on sending out invites - do I put my return address on them??

Seems like a weird question because I'm sending them out and throwing the shower, but in reality, some of the people going don't know who I am, so I'm not sure what I should put there!

Thanks!

  • Put return address on them. Some people reply with a note (yes, it's old fashioned, but it happens!) And sometimes people who can't go might send a gift to you to take to the shower (gift card, etc)

  • Put the address of where the shower will be, your email and phone number for RSVP, that should be plenty.

  • I would think you'd put her address on them but either probably works.

  • No I wouldn't. Every invite I had gotten didn't have one.

Well what happens if they are returned? I won't know whether or not someone who was invited got one.

  • Yes, I always look to see who is throwing the party. And if the invite comes back you can send it right back out with the correct address.
