ASAP help!!

I rent on the 1st floor. the commode broke above me, the pipe or something. my apt. smells like pee & crap literally. There is broken ceiling on my floor with moldy sheetrock, i had to throw my blender out and sum houseplants but even if i sterilize the crap out of my sink the pee & crap will still be there on my floor and sink where i wash my sons dishes. my landlord called me back right now and hes going to *try* to get a plumber in here. I have serious lung disease but if i dont clean this up noone will. pls advise

  • Call your local housing authority, better yet, call your local television news channel. Cameras have a way of getting people into action :)

  • It's his responsibility to make it safe, clean and livable. Call the city housing authority, them them what's going on and they will get someone out there. I'd say it's an emergency based on your lung condition.
    You might consider moving, sounds like this landlord/owner is a douche.

  • yeah call the health department..they'll kick his @$$ in gear.. plus with a child he should a tleast offer to put you up somewhere thats not nasty until the stuff can be cleaned.. he should also pay for the cleaning of your apartment..
