Toddler Curiousity??

My son is 18 mos. and he gives kisses. He is sweet but he tries to kiss you sometimes with his mouth open and the last kiss he tried to give me a kiss he tried sticking his tongue in my mouth. He has just learned to make noises using his tongue and eat ice cream on a cone. Could this be a continuation of figuring out what he can do with his tongue?

  • yeah. when my son goes to give me a kiss, he opens his mouth and sticks out his tongue. even when he's kissing my cheek, even his baby sister. i think it's totally normal, it's how they kiss!

  • My 19-month-old son likes to give kisses on my cheeks, neck, and on my mouth. I absolutely love that he does that. It's another way he shows me he loves me. He doesn't open his mouth usually. It's still cute even when he does.
