  • there were a lot of remakes in the 80s too.
    maybe it's because of all the drama with the writers guild over the past few years.

  • it's a sad day. we're building on over 3000 years of history here, trying to be original. what's left to discuss or address that hasn't been tackled and dominated already? i'm always looking for new perspectives on old concepts and the only good thing i can say for remakes is that is presents an older story to a newer generation.

    but i'm right there with you, rowing in the same boat, hoping for something new to come along and cheerfully shake us all awake. =D
