I am tired of all the books about vampires or witches...

Are there any subjects anyone can suggest for good reading, maybe some authors.

  • Dean Koontz is a great author. He does venture into a bit of supernatural and the occasional alien LOL but nothing real weird.

  • I love anything real! I have read all the books about Scott Peterson, and I am in the middle of a great book about Tara Grant.

  • I love Nora Roberts too...a nice romatic story, not dripping with dirty sex on every page.

  • I never got into the vampire crap, so I stick with my tried and true favorites - John Grisham, Nora Roberts, Dean Koontz and the like.

  • Have you ever seen a Book A Day calendar? Our library sells them. We always get them at the end of the year when they are marked down. But each day has a book it tells about. We love to go through and get idea's about new books to read. All the books I can think of off the top of my head are vampires and witches, so I am not much help. Though Julie and Julia is good and the author has a new book out called Cleaving. I have it, just haven't read it yet.
