  • electricity. Plumming is more of a basic need, as you can cook, clean, bathe, heat, and cool without electricity.

  • Indoor plumbing. I would happily crap in an outhouse as long as I had electricity. I mean everything needs electricity, the phone, the computer, fridge, stove, lights, heater and cooler. I NEED my electricity!

  • I've lived without electricity and used hurricane lamps for lighting. Everything else ran on gas. I frequently visited a friend who has no plumbing and we could fill buckets up with water to force the toilet to flush. Eventually this didn't work and it was GROSS!

  • Plumbing. I can't survive without air conditioner! I MAY be able to go without the rest, though, but it would be tough.
