Do you nibble on a meal as you cook?

Honestly, by the time I cook a really great meal, I am almost full by the time I sit down to eat! But then when we have others over for dinner, my grandmother always said it's good manners to sample everything before offering it to company to confirm that all tastes well. Right?

  • Sometimes. It depends on what I'm cooking and how well I'm familiar with the dish. If it's a new recipe, then yes, I'm nibbling.
