On saturday morning i got a very faint positive on a first morning response pregnancy test. We have been trying, so I was really excited, but I wasn't able to tell my DH. We had a family emergency, and it just wasn't the right time. Well, yesterday morning I started bleeding...I thought maybe it was a false positive? I am still bleeding really heavily and its bright red. My question is should I contact my DR and tell them I think I was pregnant? I would have only been about 3 weeks...

  • Chances are it was a "chemical pregnancy" which is what they call them when lost that early. I've always heard, treat those like a heavy period. If all seems well a dr should not be necessary. When a pregnancy is lost that early everything generally passes on its own and a d&c is generally not performed.
I'm very sorry for your loss mama.
