Can I go to a tanning bed while I'm breast feeding?

  • Yes, it's not going to affect your milk, but you might get a blotchy tan from all the hormones! I couldn't tan evenly for years after I had kids.

    Basically...if you could do a thing before pregnancy, you may do it now. Bye bye to pregnancy restrictions.

  • You can, but I would cover your nipples if you tan nude so if you get burnt they aren't affected!!

  • yes, safe while breastfeeding. FYI I used the tanning beds when I was younger and now have spent the last 15 yrs getting skin cancer removed. The last time I needed a skin graft. I'm sure the tanning beds were a factor and if I had it to do over again...
