  • IMO no. There is a such thing as lust ,infatuation or desire at first sight. Love comes later.

  • I think that when I met my husband I was instantly smitten with him. I would do more for him then any other guy. I wanted to love him. So I guess it depends of your defination of love.

  • The only time I've known it to be true is when I've just pushed a baby out of me. : )

As far as romantic love, I think it's impossible. Sure, ATTRACTION at first sight is real, but love is much more complicated than visual stimulation or compelling emotion.

  • Yeah, I think it's more like a feeling, you just know.

  • Yes, love can happen on first sight. And it can be very painful when it's not returned. For me it's been 17 years later and those feelings still exist, never diminished, never wained and never wavered but they are not returned. :(

  • Hmmm, it's a tough one. I think there is lust at first sight, but not love. Love is the deep affection you feel after you've known them. Now I was practically engaged after 3 months of dating my husband so it was quick, but I didn't even notice him until he approached me, according to him he experienced love at first sight, but he just thought I was hot and looked nice he's not fooling anyone, lol.
