When did you choose a name?

1. Before you got pregnant. 2. During pregnancy. 3. After birth. 4. "He's 4 years old now and we still haven't came up with a name yet. They all suck!"

I had my son's name picked out before I got pregnant. Still hadn't thought of a girl's name though (I have one now if I do get pg with a girl next time, LOL).

  • We started looking at names each time shortly after we found out we were pregnant. We chose our sons first name quickly but I didn't decide on a middle name until like 30 weeks. With our daughter, we had one name picked out but decided to use the middle name as a first name, then a few days later picked out her middle name. We knew her name by the time I was 12 weeks along!

  • Right before I gave birth with my first, right in the beginning with my second, and at the beginning for the girl's name with my third. We still haven't decided on a boys name yet.

  • We picked names for our first about two weeks into the pregnancy. We picked names for our second before I was ever pregnant. Each time, we picked one boy name and one girl name.

  • Before I got pregnant I picked out a girl's name. We never could pick out a boys name that we both liked. It worked out well, though because we had a girl.

  • During both pregnancies. I had an easy time picking boy names I loved but a really hard time with girl names. I found out with my first that he was a boy when I was pregnant. So I never settled on a girl name. Tho I had liked one I never decided. And With my youngest I had to pick a boy and girl name because we waited until birth to find out his sex. A boy name came easily. I was 39 weeks before finally deciding on a girl name. Looking back I should have known both were boys just because I couldn't think about girls at all. lol

  • We had a long list of names while we were trying. Both agreed on the first name of our son or daughter before getting pregnant. Then we had to figure out the middle names for our son. Our daughter, which we still don't have has her name. Our second son, we gave a few names to friends and family and we picked the one that was the most popular amongst everyone.
