  • Yep, sex for the couple weeks around ovulation. My husband said we should only do it every other day, to get the sperm built up LOL But we did it like every day and got pregnant with no problems every time.

  • Have sex everyday. If nothing wrong with you and your SO. You will get pregnant.

  • I never had any problem getting pregnant from ONE time have unprotected sex. It happened to me 4 different times. If you aren't as fertile, start eating more healthy and naturally, and cutting out any smoking or drinking. It's easier to get pregnant if you are at a healthy weight (but not underweight) as well. If all else fails then consider speaking to a fertility specialist.

  • Definitely eat healthy (if you aren't already); snacking and eating at mealtimes, fruits and veggies, taking your folic acid (0.4 mg daily) or in a multivitamin, excercise (this doesn't mean working out like crazy at a gym, just being active a few times/week if you aren't already which could mean a 20 minute walk, bike ride, throwing a ball outside with your hubby or kidlets, if you already have some, etc.)
Also, if you haven't already, charting is definitely the key if you do know that you have (or may have) problems conceiving. Or even if you don't, buy a basal body thermometer from your local drugstore, and chart your temp at approx. the same time each morning (before getting out of bed at all! That means, keeping a piece of paper at your bedside and a pen and your thermometer...seriously!) So, wake up, take your temp, write it down. Also, be monitoring your cervical mucus each day.

  • Cont....
Starting with your period, which will be spotting, light, medium or heavy, then you usually have some 'dry' days after your period is over. Everyone is different, but then, you might experience some creamy, yellow CM, then it will get 'wetter' and eventually you should have what resembles raw egg white (that, if you touch it with your thumb and pointer finger, should stretch) This may sound strange but it is true and you need to be observing this as THIS raw egg white CM is your most fertile time! It may last from 1 - 3 or 4 days approx. You are ONLY FERTILE for these few days each month. I'd also highly recommend buying the online book, "Taking Charge of Your Fertility. An excellent and easy to read informative book with realistic tips on getting pregnant and what you can do to increase your chances (food and vitamin suggestions or restrictions which are very helpful) All the best in TTC!
