I have a very important interview tomorrow and the heat index is 105! any help would be appreciated.

  • No jeans, no tshirts, no sandals, Slacks are fine with a nice blouse but no cleavage showing. shirts or dresses at the knee, dressy blouses, minimal jewelry, no perfume. That is almost verbatim for my husbands office HR manual under womens dress code.

  • Ahhh... my area of expertise..I have a Women's upscale consignment biz in Long Beach, CA that specializes only in better Career & Dress Casual Clothing, Handbags, Shoes & Accessories. If this interview is for something other than an high-profile, executive position, I'd say keeping it neat, clean, & groomed is always a best first-impression.
~ One of my favorite designers of tops/blouses and dresses is ..."Sweet Pea" by Stacy Frati....because her line's signature fabric is a nylon mesh that is sooo comfortable, breathable, stretchy, wrinkle free, in stylish patterns & flattering designs. You can find them at stores like Macy's, Bloomingdale's,,,..Great for all season's but a must-have for hot summer and carefree maintenance.
~ I suggest a lined, skirt somewhat loose/low flare, just-below-the-knee length. Top it all off with a light-weight , short or 3/4 length sleeve, summer cardigan in cashmere. Pick a cool color palette
