i went to the doctor and im having bracks and hicks

should i not have sex or do too much? this didnt happen with my first and im not sure whats really going on

  • Braxton HIcks are prettty normal in pregnancy. They can hurt really bad. Just try to take it easy but don't worry.

  • depends on how many weeks pregnant you are. if you are over 37 weeks, no worries at all.
    also depends on how frequent. if you have several in an hour, i'd call the dr and ask about it. i was having BRAXTON HICKS at 33 weeks and thought it was no biggie but after a while they seemed to be pretty frequent so i went to the hospital and my son was born a few hours later.
    but it's normal to have braxton hicks throughout pregnancy, and lots of times they are frequent and it's nothing.

    Braxton Hicks contractions are a totally normal part of being pregnant. If you feel like you're not ready to have the baby, then lay off sex. You can still have it though, it's the semen that makes them stronger (and only in some women). If you feel ready, then have all the sex you want :D
