  • I don't think it is weird, it is kind of cute.

  • lol, well if you love your pet that much and can afford it why not? my sister had a birthday celebration for her dog but she also doesn't have any kids :P and it was just a little thing with the family...

  • Not at all. My dog gets a cake made just for him (a small one) and gifts to open. :)

  • NO WAY!!!! Before we had children, our 2 Labradors and our 2 cats WERE our children! We gave them birthday presents, Christmas presents and YES we put up Christmas stocking with their names on them! Now that we have a child, we still do the stocking thing but poor Cody gets NO birthday party! He does get a special treat on his birthday though!

  • No way! We have 3 dogs, and their birthdays are always celebrated here! I think it's awesome that you care enough about your pet to acknowledge his birthday!

  • Not at all. My Yellow Lab just turned 11 and she looooves cake. I made her a cake, we sang her happy birthday (she was kinda embarrassed) and we gave her presents. She knew what was going on and was all happy running around the house.
