are fleet enemas safe for use during pregnancy? adult content

i have heard this is dr recomended. and i got it and am ready to try to help this constipation. at this point i am almost desperate for a BM. but not willing to hurt the baby with x lax or whatever you have it. i was going to try the colace...which is also dr recomended. but i need more instant relief. is it really safe?

  • I had an enema at around 38 weeks with my 4th child due to horrible constipation - I called the dr and it's what they recommended. It didn't put me into labor, but it definitely helped with the constipation!
