Do you sometimes think the ones that complain about obese people on food stamps are skinny people?

Sometimes I wonder about this. Why complain about these things when you can do nothing about it.

  • I think fat and skinny people complain equally. Certain people think that they are, in some way, paying for the ones using food stamps. They may have a decent job, paying taxes, etc and may get offended when they see someone less fortunate using food stamps to buy candy, ice cream, expensive steaks, lobster or whatever - and the poor working stiff is too cheap to buy these things for themselves even though they have the cash to do so. Live and let live. Be thankful for what YOU got.

  • No, I think the people who complain the loudest and longest about PA and food stamps are on PA and/or food stamps (or have been) and are protesting way too damn much so nobody will "suspect"

  • Sorry, I am skinny.. Was just expressing my opinion on the matter... lol! Everyone is entitled to their own opinions on any subject matter and has the right to express their opinion on a matter, whether they are skinny or obese. Who knows and who cares if skinny people are complaining about obese people receiving food stamps or not?! Seriously.. It's just an opinion.

  • I don't have a problem with obese people being on food stamps if they actually need to be.. Everyone deserves to have a hot meal.. But I do think that more people need to start eating healthier to improve their quality of lives. I hate seeing the number of obese people rising.. It breaks my heart.

  • What now, we have people wanting to regulate what obese people can buy. What, do we need to step on a scale before we enter the checkout lane to make sure our weight is within limits to buy what we have in our carts. xxlilmomma, opinions like YOURS is what breaks my heart.
