Nephilim. . .

Good debate question. . . It is stated in the bible that the Nephilim came down to earth and fell in love with the human women and had offspring. . . This angered "God" and thus the great flood. . . Could Jesus be a child of the Nephilim? Where is there stone cold proof that Jesus is the son of God and not a Nephilim?

  • Nephilum were a direct descendant from "The sons of God" ... which is also the EXACT term they use for Jesus Christ.

Kirs hit the nail right on the head there! lol.

  • i guess there is nothing of proof.... no dna test or anything lol. but if you believe what the bible says as proof then it says that mary was a virgin and there would be no way for a nephilim to concieve a baby in a mystical way, only in a physical way.

  • again, as i said before there is not any proof. either you believe what the bible says as proof or you don't. there is not a note from mary's personal midwife anywhere floating around i'm sure. they probably examined her to determine that she was a virgin, but maybe she was fooling around with a guy with an extremely small penis. who knows. i don't really know what kind of scientific proof you would expect from 2,000 years ago..... it's not like they had all the medical advances we have today lol

  • where is there proof even that is was a virgin? I know many women who bleed multiple time during sex not just the first. . .so if that is where they get the virgin idea. . . that doesn't hold much ground does it?

  • as a person of alternate faith I do agree with OP here. . . it is a good question. . . is it not? there are many who say that there is proof. . . but is there?

  • i think when you're dealing with things from so long ago proof boils down to a couple of different sources agreeing on something. of course with some things you can prove with physical findings (ex. dinosaurs, things like that), but when it comes down to actual proof of stories, like i said it is basically just finding several different records of the same account. it's not really proving anything.... they could all have it wrong lol

  • 1. Genesis 6:4 : "The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of men and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown."

    2. Numbers 13:33 "We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them."

Nephilum were a direct descendant from "The sons of God" ... which is also the EXACT term they use for Jesus Christ.
(haha I correct myself sometimes. . .lol)

SO wait was there more than one son of God. . .?????
