  • you don't have to stop, it's kind of up to your kid. I stopped when they kept kicking out of it. or rolling over since I didn't want them trapped if they rolled over, it's hard to roll back if you have no use of your arms.

  • I agree it's one of those things you as a mom have to decide what is right for you kid. My oldest wanted to stop being swaddled earlier then my youngest. When I noticed that she was no longer happy being swaddled I stopped.

  • By about 2 months, your baby will be moving around more in sleep, and swaddling could make her uncomfortable and contribute to night waking, so let your baby give you the clues as to when to stop swaddling.

  • oh yeah! :) mine were swaddled until about 3 or 4 months. My daughter had reflux so I swaddled her longer because it seemed to help.

  • Oh gosh, both my boys loved being swaddled almost all the way to 6 months. I guess it just made them feel secure at night or something! But when they were ready to stop they sure let me know!! :) And it did help a ton with #2's reflux.

  • I swaddled to 6 months. Especially for nap time in their swings. They loved the actual swaddle blankets.
