  • they are way to inconsistent for it to be real labor...real labor has a distinct pattern. it's only false labor, drink a lot of water and get in the tub, they'll be over soon enough

  • Call L&D and see what they say. You are still a little inconsistent, but with so many in an hour they will want to check you to see if you are in true labor. If it continues like this for another hour definitely go in.

  • sounds like early labor to me. I would call your husband and let him know about the contractions. Can he come home? Keep tracking them. If your sitting, try walking around,if you are walking try getting the bath or resting. Depending on how far you need to travel is when you should consider leaving. If youlive fairly close to the hospital usually its suggested to wait until your contractions are about 4 minutes apart, atleast a minute long and they have been lasting that long for atleast an hour. I think its wise to wait until you are in the active part of labor choose to go to the hospital (thats about 3-4 mins apart) and the contractions are intense enough to make you stop what you are doing. But definitely call your hubby and have someone with you... can someone be available to take you to the hospital when its time?
