  • We budget too. We do a zero based budget where every dollar of income has a "name" - like a place to go. So not even a single dollar is spent without us deciding how it is going to be spent before hand.

It's saved us a lot of money :)

If you're interested, the zero based budget that we use is from Dave Ramsey- you can find information on it at

  • Well, we do budget but I don't have to try really hard. We've been doing it for so long it's second nature.

  • I try. But not really. We're about to be caught up on everything - and once we're caught up, OH how blissful life shall be.

  • Yes... having a million dollar baby will do that to you.

  • Yes, we budget. It may have been hard the first few months when we were adjusting to living with a budget, but now it's just normal. We also use a zero based budget and only pay cash for everything. I also recommend Dave Ramsey.

  • Yes, we had a little slump recently so we are strapped for cash. This is something new to me because I always have some mad money. It is definatly disciplining. I hope I dont turn into a miser after this slump!
