My three year old has her ears peirced.. has had for about 4 months.. Now where the ring is, it looks raw and is oozing some liquid. How should I clean it>?

  • Sautrate a cotton ball with hydrogen peroxide and soak the ear and earing well twice a day. Follow up with some 3 in 1 antibotic ointment.

  • Use antibacterial soap and then coat them in trip antibiotic ointment or betadine. Then you really need to just put studs in them so they don't get stressed like rings do.

  • If I remove them, the infection will get closed in her ear.. Her dad is a tattoo/piercer.. He said at the beginning used antibacterial soap, but I didn't know if that would be okay now..

  • Poor kid. This is why I think that children should be older and able to care for their ears properly before they get them pierced. I hope it heals quickly for her!
