  • Try straight, warm juice, esp apple juice. Also increase the amount of water he is taking in. You can also give high fiber bread and grains.
    Good luck!

  • My daughter had the same problem and during potty training. She was afraid it would hurt so she would hold it. We did a week of Pedia-Lax, Pear juice and limited her dairy products (all reccomended by her pediatrician). The last treatment was glycerin suppositories and that did the trick! Just inserting the suppository was enough to stimulate her bowls. They come in child size and you can get them at any drug store. Good luck and I hope your little guy feels better soon. <3

  • No dairy
    No simple/white grains
    Little or no meat
Lots of fruits (except bananas), vegetables, whole grains and legumes.

  • Miralax is what helped my son. I also went to see a dietician for him since this has been an issue since birth, she recommed making sure he get at least 7 grams of fiber or day - after a week for the first time, he pooped without being rabbit pellets - we are very strict about it now and he's doing great..
