  • I am making key lime pie tomorrow. Here is my recipe.

    Graham Cracker Pie Crust

    12 graham crackers, crushed
    1/4 c. melted butter
    1/3 c. brown sugar ( I use less)
Combine all ingredients and press lightly into a 9" pie dish. Bake at 300 for 10-15 minutes.

    Key Lime Pie
9" prepared graham cracker crust 3/4 c. key lime juice
(about 20-24 key limes or about 10 of the regular ones)
    1 T. lime zest
2 14 oz. sweetened condensed milk
    1/2 c. sour cream
Preheat oven to 350. Combine all ingredients, mix well and pour into crust. Bake for only 5-8 minutes, until tiny pinhole bubbles burst on the surface of pie. DO NOT BROWN! Cool completely and chill before serving. Top with fresh whipped cream and garnish with lime wedges.

frost your cake with the pudding

  • You get fruit cups .. In your bakery section at your local grocery store. Plain or Vanilla Yogurt. Fresh Fruit.
And you make yourself a Yogurt and fruit cup. It's delicious. You can put on sprinkles, chocolate sauce, or anything else if you would like.

  • 1 can more fruit pie filling-any flavor
    ground cinnamon-optional
1 box Jiffy yellow cake mix
3/4 stick butter or margarine, cut in thin slices.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray glass pie dish with cooking spray. Spread pie filling evenly over bottom of pan, sprinkle with cinnamon if using (I like it with apple & peach). Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over top of pie filling. Dot with butter. Bake 25-35 mintues or until the top is brown. Serve warm or at room temp.
